Maintaining and keeping your gutters clean is as vital as any other part of a building’s maintenance schedule, but it’s often forgotten until it’s too late. They control the flow of rainwater to protect your roof, walls, foundations and landscaped areas. We recommend cleaning the gutter system a minimum of once per year depending on location.
Overflowing gutters can result in costly roof repairs, damage to window fitments and general building leakage. They also can cause unsightly stains on masonry and stonework along with the growth of mould and mildew on building fascia’s.
Debris in gutters can invite birds, insects and rodents to nest that can bring further potential for blockage in the form of leaves, sticks and an array of materials.
Granary uses the latest technology in utilising the most powerful ground-based gutter cleaning systems on the market. We have the option of utilising the 3600-Watt triple motor professional gutter vacuum cleaner or the Upkeeper petrol gutter vac with gutter pole kit. The Upkeeper has a Honda engine making it completely independent of any electrical supply requirements making us able to access hard to reach areas.
No requirement to work at height giving a self-contained and mobile system, both have powerful vacuum systems which will lift and remove the heaviest of waste matter from gutters up to 40ft from the ground.
