Is your roof covered in moss, dirt, lichen and general debris? If this is the case we can help by providing moss removal and roof treatment services. Our local climate has warm (ish) summers and wet winters, this results in moisture in the roof tiles which can cause the growth of moss and algae, after a long period of time this can cause damage to tiles and the roof structure from the weight of the moss.

This moss can cause a number of problems from; blocked gutters and downpipes, roof tiles cracking in winter due to expansion and contraction in the winter months due to freezing temperatures.  All this adds to premature damage to your roof.

What is the process for moss removal and roof cleaning?  We use the UK’s most efficient moss removal system Skyscraper which can eliminate the danger of climbing on roofs, simply select the blade to match the tile profile, attach to a telescopic pole and we are ready to remove the moss.  The system can be used from the ground or from elevated platforms and we place tarpaulins to catch debris and protect the surrounding environment.

Treatment – Once the roof has been cleared of moss and debris the roof tiles can then be treated with a Softwash Biocide, this will get deep into the roof tiles and stop the germination of moss spores and delay regrowth.  A full assessment will be conducted and discussed with the customer to ensure the best treatment is provided.
